I am a queer comprehensive sex educator, doula, postpartum chef, and consultant based in Brooklyn, NY. I provide compassionate support and education to people from preschool to adulthood.
Originally from Massachusetts, I spent 6 years in New Orleans studying at Tulane University, where I received my BA in Sociology. I have spent over 15 years working in the field of childcare as well as 7 years working in sex education and reproductive justice. I am currently pursuing a Sex Education Certificate from the University of Michigan and have completed over 50 hours of training in lactation counseling. I’m an intuitive listener who loves to make people laugh - qualities that have helped me thrive in this work.
My work in sex education has encompassed the lifespan of experiences. I have extensive knowledge in supporting parents with creating sex positive households and talking to preschoolers about their bodies, boundaries, and safety. I have taught sex education in schools, community centers, and religious spaces to children in kindergarten through early 20s. I have frank conversations about sexuality during pregnancy and work with clients to reconnect with sex and pleasure in pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
I entered the field of sexuality education because of my own fears - about my body, experiences, and identity. When I became an educator, I found that the more I learned about sex, reproductive health, and how to navigate conversations about sexuality, the more I learned about who I was as a person. It was life-changing.
I believe that when people feel empowered to make informed decisions about their sexual and reproductive selves, they will become more embodied in all parts of their lives.
